My great grandpa taught me this: a law is only for an honest man.
Look at areas in the US that have strict gun ownership laws, these same areas tend to have higher rates of gun-related crimes per-capita(DC NYC Chicago etc)than areas w more reasonable gun-owner laws
These unreasonable laws only limit law-abiding citizens.The criminals can readily acquire firearms without registration via underground means.
