This man’s name is Kirk Wall. He’s been with the Billy’s since 1990 or 1991. He’s been with Disneyland since around 1985 and will probably be there for many more years to come. He’s a fantastic entertainer and an all-around great guy. After all these years watching him, I still get stitches because he makes me laugh so hard! My kids even love him.

Umm…my previous entry was a supportive follow-up to phiddler3’s “Gary Busey” comment at that time. Apparently the added mock conspiracy theory was not as obvious a signal as intended, so thanks for setting the record straight for those not following along at the posted speed limit.

Umm, this is NOT craig ferguson. I just went to disneyland 2 months ago and it is the same guy there. But he does look like him.

It’s Craig Ferguson before his US citizenship! Even then, he pretended to hit on the audience (he just comes onto the camera lens now during _The Late, Late Show_. No coincidence he serenaded a fan with “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?–Ferguson and Rod Stewart are both from Scotland! That explains why NBC didn’t hire him as the obvious host for _The Tonight Show_: as the funniest man on late night he would’ve been the best choice, but Craig quit Disney and GE wouldn’t let him be hired back!!

@willdav713 I read the article about Bea Benederit being a five pack a day smoker from a Petticoat junction website. I don’t know if it’s true or not, One even said the man that played Steve Elliot was dead, Mike Minor(Fedderson) but it was Mike’s brother Gregg Fedderson that’s no longer with us, Maybe the person that talked about Bea got it from Wikipedia. That’s just a bunch of people that just say things about people, that might just be fiction. How could someone smoke

@willdav713 Nancy Kulp was NEVER elected to Congress. She RAN for Congress as a Democrat in 1984 but was beaten rather soundly, thanks in no small part to a petty, mean campaign ad against her by Buddy Epsen. As a result, she refused to speak to Epsen for many years. If I were her, I would have NEVER spoken to him again. Epsen had no particular ties to her opponent and no particular interest in that race, but chose to allow himself to be a mean shill for the Republican party.

@toriElena Yeah I don’t want to end up like my non smoking paternal grandfather who drank every meal with dementia and alztheimers. I would rather die from smoking or have a heart attack then be put in a nursing home. I heard smoking reduces the risk of Alztheimers, but the liberal media would dare say anything on that.

@Sheri451 5 packs a day is overdoing it. If I were to eat chicken smoothered with lard every meal for 6 years, I would probally have a heart attack, and not get out of the house for work. Irene could have died sooner if she didn’t smoke. Truth is most seniors retire and are inactive. Irene worked her whole lifetime.

Only Jethro and Ellie Mae are still alive. Miss Hathway (Nancy Kulp) later on became a US Representive in Pennsylvania, and starred in Sanford and Son (the white cops mother renting at the Sanford Arms) She lived to be 69 which is around the normal mortality rate at the time for females despite smoking. Women do have lower mortality rates then Men. Drysdale died at 75. Irene Ryan (Granny Moses) died at 70. Jed died at 90 he outlived both my grandparents one who never smoked and one who did.

@wordsmith52 She died at 81. She outlived my maternal grandma and grandpa. My maternal Grandpa smoked and snuffed and he lived to 86. I always thought because he liked sweet10 sodium sacchrine that caused his bladder cancer. Guess what? His lungs and heart were healthy.

@littlebit19801 That sort of argument is purely anecdotal, NOT based on ANY kind of statistical evidence. There are always going to be “outliers” (i.e. what statisticians call individuals on the fringes of the data) but their existence does NOT in any way disprove what the overwhelming body of statistical evidence indicates: That smoking is, generally speaking, VERY deleterious to one’s health and quality of life, and usually significantly shortens one’s lifespan.
