A shout out to my old friend, Mike. The Hillibillies meet Petticoat Junction as Mike Minor as Steve, sings “One Day at a Time” to Granny in a Hooterville Christmas Special. 1968
Love this
Another Mike Minor/Steve Elliott, Petticoat Junction fan here!
Mike, Linda, Meredith, Lori and so many others…Thank you for the many years of entertainment you brought to the screen. You are not forgotten. So many fans out here, who still love you all and the joy you brought to so many! Your work is “Timeless’. Long Live Petticoat Junction
Wow! I did not know this was here! Steve Elliott and Mike Minor were my first real crush, even if I was only about four when he started on Petticoat. He still has a lot of fans too. All the PJ actors have a lot of fans, more than I think they realize. So, this is to Mike Minor, and the girls too of course – thanks for all the years of joy. We still love you. :-}
This is actually a record he made a few years BEFORE joining PJ.
Also the episode is edited. I can tell be the rotating transition between scenes effect which was characteristic of TBH that we see briefly after the song ends I have it uncut(but am unable to post it)
After the song Joe says, “Very inspiring.” Granny and the girls go into the kitchen to finish cooking, then Joe says “It wasn’t THAT inspiring, I think I’ll go take another nap” THEN, the scene changes.

Agreed! And it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if Sinatra recorded this song too. I think several people may have done it. It was a really old song even when this episode was made.
@Joannec95
Meredith MacRae(Billie Jo #3) was also an amazing singer. I loved whenever she sang on the series.
Once Meredith and Mike joined PJ, singing became a recurring theme. The other girls could sing too!
