I didn’t build the sub. Just got some footage for the guys. But if you want information about it, go to a youtube profile called MrChevelleMan (You can see one of his video responses down below.) Scroll through his profile, and he should have a post about contact information.

how did you make it and can I get the plans you used?

  3. DaMadBlaqDrumma

how is it powered? pretty cool btw

  4. garrettcaleb12

Nah, they washed the inside pretty good before putting it together. Don’t want to be welding on something that could explode!

I bet it smells like propane in there.

If I did this, I’d put a huge shark fin on it and scare the crap out of people!

    Wow… That’s pretty freakin cool.

I’ve wanted to do this since I was about six years old. Awesome!

Thanks bud, it took us about 2.5 months to finish and get perfected and a little under 5g

@garrettcaleb12 you guys rock. I wanted to do this in my high school welding shop. no one else is on board with it because it would most likely be an impossible project. but obviously not. please tell me, how long did it take to build, and how much did it cost? if you don’t mind

ONLY IN AMERICA! NICE JOB GUYS!

  13. GNiessen

Now that is a Sub. Nice job guys.

  14. Starbuckin

hell YES! AWESOME! These guys are geniuses!

Epic! Anything bigger is going to be out of most people’s price range (if the purpose is to make and sell them). If someone has 50+ thousand dollars to spend on a sub, there are already companies that cater to that demographic.

    Absofrigginlutely AMAZING!!!! Good work guys!!!

as propulsion we have two 55 lb thrust trolling motors on the dive planes and our big motor in the back is a hydraulic/electric drive (electric motor on the inside pumping oil to the outside motor) which has plenty of get up and go. The motors on the front are mostly for maneuvering. On the inside we have a 5000 psi regulator to tone it down to whatever we need to come up and down

  22. MrChevelleMan

We have a drop weight that weighs 1300 lbs that will allow us to come up even if the inside of the tank is half full of water. But for if some unknown reason you had to open the hatch, the only way to do so is to turn a big valve and let water in to equalize pressure. While we wait underwater we have plenty of scuba tanks and oxygen inside to live on till the top can be opened

Very interesting, and a complicated build for sure. Time for some
trials in clear water!. Would you be able to open the hatch in case of
    an underwater emergency?
