WRX’s are not designed for boulder busting, they are mainly a tarmac or gravel thrasher.
Running from the cops is different from outrunning the cops, when you get a radar lock & gas it, that is an outrunning.
You are right about Crown Vics, I wouldn’t buy one for a paddock basher.
LOL what’s with all this about running from the cops? Are you wanted or something?
And seriously, Subaru’s are useless, Crown Vic’s are useless, pretty much unless it’s lifted and has 4×4 you don’t even have a chance of following us.
Put simply, we go where there are no roads. I would laugh hysterically if someone with an STI or WRX tried to follow us. Seriously, I’d probably die laughing.
If your cops start driving Subaru Foresters then make sure you have sturdy stall converters & torqued up turbos. Turbos are fine, aslong as you are able to keep your revs up to avoid turbo lag.
Alot of truck owners own stick shift trucks, but if you are able to find a truck with a good standard (automatic) gearbox have a healthy supercharger & torque converter, should be fine.
I hope for your sake they keep driving Crown Vics, costs alot to keep up with the police fleet upgrades.
Can’t wait to get my Florida CJ back home to some real WV off-road. Can’t get enough of this song, bet I’ve watched the video 20 times just to hear it. Proud to be a Mountaineer.
Godbotherer1…I’d like to see a police cruiser follow me up the side of a mountain.
Nice vid. Can’t wait to get back to the hills where I belong. Of course my GTO wouldn’t even make it 2 ft as far as the Jeepers, but oh well. I can still have fun hitting the mountain roads.
look at my pics on myspace of the green giant it is a 1980 cj-5 jeep with a 401 under the hood side pipes and alot more my myspace is catfishchris i have a video of the jeep on my profile
