be careful, there are 8 crazy people between us. maybe they’re just victims of an acute schizophrenia. if they’re not, then i just don’t understand what is going on with them.
A superb album! Complete and perfectly conceived and executed from start to finish just like Village breen! My absolute favourite band of all time! Everyone else….take note; this is how it’s done!
Not my favourite – I’d put Village Green… & Arthur ahead, but IMO certainly the most critically underrated. I always thought that The Kinks took several albums to discover their own real identity. They tried to be The Rolling Stones too often earlier.
the kinks fuckin rule, and muswell hillbillies and lola versus powerman and the money go round are their best albums in my opinion….long live the kinks

Baptist kicks ass in this video. Not to mention Dave’s surreal coolness. Nevermind. Dave Davies is always goddamn amazing.

this is such a great song, from such a great band. I love how the music sounds “drunk”
What a lyricist, what a guy, what a band (and love ya, Davie!)
