I think it’s hard to say that American cast was better, rather many of them were also in UK:

Chip Esten
Colin Mochrie
Ryan Stiles
AND UK had great performers that were in the original show alone:
Tony Slattery
John Sessions
Paul Merton
For example. I haven’t watched UK enough to name more, but I’ve watched it enough to know that the both casts are equally great.
hes a lot of things, he was on madtv(ups guy), pulp fiction, and he has done a ton of voice work (samurai jack,vamp, earth king in avatar to name a few)
