When the shock broke the fluid dumped on the headers and caused a small fire but it was easily put out.

this rig is cool and that save at the beginning was awesome but I don’t think that this rig is as good as showtime.

I understand what you are saying too if i was to duplicate it for 50k i would have to work for free no fun there .

I build house not cars it is a dream we have a shop and have been tooling it of some time it never ends I’m just a helper i know a master and look up to him a lot for the knowledge he has those frames would be easy for him and just need to look at one they were selling frames for the mud rigs over here 1.9 sec thru a pit i have seen them on you ch i think I’m sub to you ch if not i will it like that mud porn mixed with some gun porn and I’m good

Most axles are 1 off in the sport of mud who ever put a certain combo to gather might have those rights if patented most you could copy like those danas with rockwell hubs that what i meant buy parts swapping not junk yard stuff you can go new too and make a certain combo that is light but strong and that power glide is already built to i bet. Even if those frames are patented it just takes a few tweaks here and here to make it your own.

I understand what you are saying. If you could duplicate this buggy for 50K I would probably by as many as you could build.

I build houses and i did one for less than 30$ a square foot the going price is about 150$ now thats if you buy every thing at home depot or lows it will cost you more now to built it than what its worth or what you can sell it for i restorer and buy in bulk at auctions and produce most of the house from raw materials anyways 100k is turn key but if you build it i bet you cant cut it down to half id say.

The engine you are talking about isn’t fuel injected, This LSX is fuel injected, also the axles are 1 off custom axles, There is no parts swapping around. Heck the built Powerglide transmission from PTC is almost 5k

If you build the engine you can save a lot thats buying it crate i help a guy out at the drags and he has a 454 big block i know yours are small but his is blown puts out over 2000hp and he has less then 10k in it i dont think tims comes close just saying if you are resource full and skilled theses things are attainable with hard work but theres not much profit for every one I’m sure tim does good and those axles are chopped and part swamped thats possible to with the right research, time and $ .

They cost 20k to have them built for you i do have a idea not saying your wrong i believe you thats a trip how far the sport has evolved those fabricators get paid more that 200 a hour thats cheap not to say machinist too it does add up but i meant strait up parts a Veyron cost a million only because the engineering and labor its 70% more or less 70-75 common aluminum but all tig welded in scrap less that 10k .

No its DOM and Mig welded, and just to give you an idea the axles cost 20k and the engine 15k so thats already past 30k and you aren’t even close to having a buggy.

Is that frame chrome moly tig welded or brazed i heard thats makes the frame stay more striate while welding but those are race cars i don’t see the need for precision like that for these rigs the parts are around 30k and the rest in labor id say.

If he wanted to climb axel hill he would. This is the same guy who made the bounty hill his bitch. This new rig seems awesomely strong but showtime seem more nimble somehow. Keep the vids comming Cole, happy new year from Nova Scotia. Tim I wish I could just be along for the ride
