what kind of car is 466 and 500

  3. Tyler Russell

what kind of car does 466 have?

  4. cesarchvavez1988

Well it’s understandable if its just a rear shot derby but that# 500 with no good front bumper what a waste

Thanks for watching and the insightful input.

they have them where im from and the sure in the hell work better than the damn logs… yea cars get stuck on them but from where im from they stop the demo and let the person off so that person has a fighting chance unlike the 466 pushing that car out… that really annoys me, lmao aint the idea of demo derby is to be the last one running and not to be pushed out… i couldnt play by these rules lol n i agree with wblwarrior10

Thanks for watching and for the clarification.

In most rules there is no Motor to Motor shots.. Thats why most derby’s are rear end shot only

He put on one hell of a show, tho. I haven’t posted the pre race show from this one yet, but he explained to me, in the pits pre race, that he was gonna sacrifice himself but some people had some shots coming. I’m guessing in his 25 years of demo derby driving he may have built up a little pent up rage against some folks and their tactics, I don’t know.

I will try to get the pre race up soon.

466 wasted his car no reason to use the front end for shots that wernt putting out cars

Thanks for watching and the input. However, I just do the videos as a volunteer. I am not affiliated with any drivers or the promoter.
I can not believe having drivers run into concrete barriers could possibly be safe. The “logs” you wrote about are telephone poles. Not many racers knock other drivers over the poles like our local demo derby legend, “Purple” Hayes Conley, does.

Word of advice, why dont you put up actual cement barriers so your not out after going over a 6 inch high log…?

Thanks for watching and the input. I’d rather you tell us how great we are but it is what it is. I produce and edit these videos as a volunteer as well as recruit volunteers to help run cameras and help with sound. I am self taught and getting better but I’ll never be perfect. I learn from each video I do and I hope some kick ass derby videos are in our future. I hope you will be watching and will provide some more much needed input. Thanks again. Paul

This is how a lot of the Back 2 Back shows are. Its the same promoter that I ran my compact in.

Some people can build 80s vics that can build compete with old iron

@GMonlyderbyteam , Well when you have 70″s mopar running against 80″ s ford bubble tops its kinda one sided

  18. freetickeys

I only make the videos. I know little about the sport. Maybe someone else who knows more can explain it. I do know the “built” cars are from regular drivers and the new guys come largely unprepared unless they are properly affiliated.

  19. GMonlyderbyteam

So why are like half the cars built and the other half look like they just came off the street?

  20. freetickeys

Thanks for watching. Good luck with your “Beast”.

  21. MrButchrulez

thats awsome come ook at my video i jus started building mine!!!

When I make a highlight video, there will be some hits from this video included. 466 had to hit his brakes before impact once to keep from going off the course with his target. That great performance came from local demo derby legend, “Purple” Hayes Conley. Thanks for watching.

that was one sweet vid my man, im adding it to my favorites.

  24. freetickeys

That is “Purple” Hayes Conley. He has been in the Alexandria Fairgrounds Demo Derby for all of its 25 years. I’m surprised his body can take it. I got in one car wreck and I hurt for a month. He’s not only a great demo derby driver but he mentors to the younger drivers, as well. The 500 car was his daughter’s boyfriend. He represents all that is good about this sport. I’m glad to know him.
