Why will they not stand behind it? What is their reasoning? From what I understand they have an excellent warranty. In fact, the flooring I’m getting has a LIFETIME warranty.

This commercial makes the product look great…. Not true in our experience. We installed about 1000 square feet of Bristol Chestnut in Dec 2011 and it already looks terrible after a few months! Pergo refused to stand behind their product and we’re stuck with $3K plus of a junk floor. We saved for years to replace our carpet with a long lasting, nice floor. We’re heart-sick about it. The floor has chipped and dented with the smallest of household items like plates and toys being dropped on it.
