the trailer should have made it seem like tucker and dale were evil without showing any death scenes. that would have been enough to get me to watch and would have been a hilarious surprise.
what were they thinking when they showed nearly every highlight???

I turned on the TV and this was on and I was on my laptop not really paying attention. Looked up and I was like “huh another killer hillbilly flick” but when they got to the part where Dale’s trying to give Allie breakfast and I noticed his facial reactions I was “wait a minute” put the headphone down and watch the movie. And it was hilarious. I kept trying to find it on TV but I couldn’t. But a couple of days ago I went to the DVD store and there it was. Now I can watch it when I want.

Chronicle is the movie that made me realize trailers ruin movies. When I saw the poster at the theater I didn’t know anything about it, didn’t see a trailer, I didn’t even know it was a “found footage” movie about teenagers with superpowers. The movie blew my mind, not because it was a masterpiece, but because I didn’t watch the trailer. After watching the trailer I saw every scene that surprised me so now it’s a strict rule of mine to never watch trailers. It helps that I also don’t watch tv.
