This is when McDonalds still had people over the age of 24 in their commercials. Today everyone in their ads are between the ages of 16-24.

I know darling, dead actors dredging up their ancient roles must stimulate you, possum. You’re an American, after all, and dazzled by the trite. However, this is a new age of technology and dare I say, cellphones, darling. Please get with the times, and stop winding up the old Victrola. Peace and warm fuzzy kisses to you. *MWAAH* Peace.

Congratulations, you’re the front runner for the most pointless post of the year.

Yup, I suppose since this vid was from some cheesy commercial for McDonalds in 1988…let’s see, that was almost 24 years ago; it might be safe to assume some of these elderly actors have died since then. Quite the quandary there, I guess. I cannot stand fast food/junk food or Mickey D’s in general; that iconic bad food harbinger to the nutritionally inept. Sorry for the rant, I just believe in eating real food. That’s all. Peace.

Damn Gilligan looked just as old as Jed Clampett in that commercial.

No, Al Lewis passed away a bit of a while ago, in his 90’s. I think he’d had one of his legs amputated, from some sort of illness??

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve stopped at the 24 hour McDonald’s drive-thru, on my way home from work at midnight, and gotten the McDouble and small fries. 2 dollars plus tax; Dinner fit for a king, eaten before the exit to the other highway to get home.

It would be nice if they have Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick Sargent of “Bewitched” and Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman of “I Dream of Jeannie” as well for this classic commercial.

Jed Clampett got me in trouble with Sister when I was in grade school. I kept trying to talk like him until she called me out into the hall and asked what the heck I thought I was doing. Told me it would hurt my English grade if I kept it up. Well I had 2 choices: 1) Either keep doing it and have Sister, the principal, grandparents, and mom and dad mad at me for willfully hurting my grades; or 2) Stop doing it and live. … I got a good grade, am still kicking, and still love The Hillbillies.

If you’ve got the stomach to handle it, Granny will cook it up. Thanx be to the gods of TV for multi-creative genre crossover merchandising.
