This was filmed two days after the Scotty Moore at Air Studios, London. Marc could not attend but invited all of us to his show with the Notting Hillbillies at Ronnie Scott’s. I was lucky enough to get Mark to talk about one of his heroes and how they came to meet. This was intended to be DVD extra material for the release of Scotty Moore In London…maybe someday.

What an excellent Clip! Thank you for it. In the early ’60s, I quite possibly drooled over that same guitar as MK in the very shop window (‘Jeavons’, Percy Street?), with exactly the same feelings of complete inaccessibility.
Tyneside, I think of as the ‘Nashville’ the UK. It has bred, and still breeds, some very gifted players!
