Also, way to represent Alabama! Rednecks FTW, show them how to engineer man! I’ve lived in Alabama my entire life and I love surprising people with math and science. I remember having a conversation with my dad about Rayleigh–Taylor instability in an airport in Maine waiting on a flight. The couple in front of us asked us where we were from and when we said Alabama their jaws almost fell off hehe. Again I love what you do, keep it up!

Destin, I have to say, my friend turned me onto this channel and I am continually amazed with what you do. I think it’s great that you bring all of these engineering concepts to the general populace and still manage to do it in a fun and thought provoking manner. Keep up the astonishing work! You’ll always have my views.

Notice how every hand holding a water balloon moves up as the weight is taken off. It might be interesting to study the dynamic response of the position-holding reflex, or whatever it’s called, to a step change like this. Tell whoever holds the balloon to try to keep their hand motionless as the balloon is popped.
