Perhaps specific wasn’t the right word. What I meant was, the group usually isn’t as diverse as it should be. Take a group of out-of-work restaurant workers and poll them on immigration issues, and it shouldn’t be a surprise to discover that they’re opposed to amnesty.
Hows that Right Path working out for ya? lol

I have no idea where Stubanville is but I do know this. I live in Maryland. The bluest of the blue states. However, where I live Romney is king. You ask 30 people, 25 of them are voting Romney. My point is, One focus group of 8 people in one town means literally NOTHING. Why they would show the results of this one tiny group is baffling.

Maybe Newt Gingrich can sent a rocket to Kolob and make it the 51st state.

Also, the DOW wasn’t the only thing I mentioned. I mentioned every major metric of the economy. The DOW shows Wallstreet has rebounded to where it was before the recession. The unemployment rate reducing and the GDP growing and the jobs being created show that the economy is getting better under Obama’s policies, not worse as your party claims. You’re entitled to disagree with the President, but you are not entitled to your own facts. Reality is reality.

Everything you just said was wrong. Unemployment was 7.8% when Obama took office (peaked at 10%). If you knew anything about economics you’d know that a recession is 2 or more consecutive months of neg GDP growth. By the definition, the recession ended in June/July of 2009, when Obama’s policies came into effect. GDP grew last month by 2%, not 1%. Gas prices were actually $1.76 when he took office b/c the economy tanked. Low gas prices are not a good thing, they reflect a poor economy.

    Yep! Romney2012!

The average reccession in America is 6 months….we’re in this 4 years now! The DOW has nothing to do with the general public & doesn’t reflect the economy at large, even Obama says THAT. Unemployment was just over 6% when Obama took office, even now with 65% workforce & the WH cooking the numbers, its still 7.8%, with a 14% black unemployment. GDP is anemic at less than 1%. Gas was $1.86 & now its $3.69. Get real, Obamas policies are coming home to roost, its going to be a LANDSLIDE. Romney!

  16. riverratbond007

Even Obama knows the DOW has very little to do with the general economy. The GDP of this country, & housing AND auto sales is horrendous.

it is a huge move in that direction as the government is now involved with our healthcare. Government sees us as statistics…

Oh, you guys are most definitely leading by AN example. Not sure it’s the example you want to be using though. He is far from the minority of Romney supporters. I’ve run into racists like him “spreading the good message” in every video that I have watched that mentions Romney or Obama. I’ve also run into people with other bigotries besides just racism supporting Romney. When Romney has people like John Sununu as co-chair of their election campaign, this is the support you get.

    Exactly!

To be clear, Romney SAYS NOW that he opposes abortions except for rape and incest and life of the mother. He originally was pro-choice, then he was against all abortions no matter what, then he was against them but would allow for life of the mother. He really has every position possible on Abortion.

Ryan believes in only a life of the mother exception. Ryan completely agrees with Akin and Mourdock (Ryan and Akin cosponsored a bill saying no to abortions for rape and incest victims).

People like you are the reason that there should be IQ test requirement before being allowed on the internet. IQ tests should also be required to vote, to be allowed to run for public office, be allowed on TV and really you should be required to show your IQ score before being allowed to weigh in on an argument in general. The stupidity that abounds in the public now is doing ridiculous levels of harm to society and the future of the human race.

Obamacare isn’t government involved healthcare. It is government involved health INSURANCE. Requiring people to get the insurance and requiring insurance companies to treat you fairly and not gouge prices. The thought that this is government run healthcare is the biggest lie from the rightwing. Romney created this framework in MA and thinks everything about it is great except that Obama gets credit. The only reasons Reps hate it is because a Dem did it.
