The rest of the world is still discovering the BHB and there are new fans out there. It may be all about money to some and to some it needs to be, but when people appreciate the show for what it is, they are on a different planet that has nothing to do with money.

He looks like his father who was heavyweight champion of the world in the early 1930s.

It’s amazing how Jethro grew up to be…………..JETHRO!!! His Casino plans are right up there with some of Jethro”s wildest ideas and careers from the hit TV series scripts!!! I guess the “long talk with that boy” from his Uncle Jed never happened….

The records show that Max Baer Sr. was born in Omaha, NE and Jr. was born in Oakland, CA. Just for the record to make sure that you understand that the Sr. was the heavyweight boxing champion and Jr. was an actor on the Beverly Hillbillies. I am certain that SOME Max Baer was born in Colorado, but not the ones in the video.

And a Happy New Year to you, too.

Weird Al’s take on the theme (with Dire Straits’ Money for Nothing) was an absolute hoot.

Max Baer Jr. was good, I liked the scene in the Bev. Hillbillies, when he bought this surplus rocket, sat on it like a horse with reigns and thought he was going to the moon!,,, :)))
