Back in the early 90’s I was working in downtown Columbus Mississippi when a gold Cadilac with Tennessee plates pulled up to me and asked if there was a Quincy’s Steakhouse nearby..I gave him directions and then asked if he was Johnny Russell..He said yes and seemed surprised that a young hip looking guy like me knew who he was..I then told him that he was one of the greatest songwriters ever..He laughed..Thanked me and drove on.

he didn’t actually get shot. and theres a hand full of people that actual were shredded by a .50 and survived. my friend was in the marine corps, and he had a m2 malfunction and launch a .50bmg shell through his leg, man it was a nasty picture.

They were shooting at something “Iron”.
The bullet bounced off the flat surface
and came directly back at the shooter. Luckily it was nearly spent and didn’t kill him. Never shoot at flat surfaces. It says that right on the box of ammo. Even a redneck [like me] knows that.
