The Clampett’s have caught up to Sonny Drysdale’s philandering ways and set out to defend Elly May’s honor. The Clampett’s are armed and “The Great Feud” is on. Granny is “madder than a barefoot centipede standing on a hot rock.” Jed doesn’t know that banks consider firearms a threat and when he attempts to have a word with Mr. Drysdale, he is arrested and jailed! the first show..was less harsh. laugh track is way too loud and overly LAUGHING. NO sloppy kiddie music…like the very bad music of introducing Milburn Drysdale …

I looked it up on imdb.com and it is him. Yes he’s a lot younger, but that voice and face is the same.

At 21:56, Taylor–the guy who enters Drysdale’s office–looks familiar. Is he none other than Robert Osborne, who went on to become an entertainment journalist and host of Turner Classic Movies?

The Laugh track drove me crazy. I’m glad they changed it…or at least lowered the volume.

Just for the record: this was broadcast two days before my tenth birthday. Donna Douglass really caught my eye back then, even at the ripe old age of ten!
