Amazing how that developed so quickly. Almost like it was planned : ))

Ron really loved playing the heel.

East Tennessee’s biggest wrestling star of all time
the Living Legend, The Number 1 Hillbilly, The King of Kingsport.
    Mr Ron Wright

Sam Muchnik should’ve given Knoxville more refs! The interplay between the announcer and Ron was hilarious. It was a southern version of Heenan and Gorilla. Great find!

Wright looks like the people who sit in the stands rather than be in the ring. Why couldn’t the North get this guy as a wrestler/manager?

That’s “the King of Kingsport”, Ron Wright, one of the most memorable villains of the Mid-South wrestling territory.
