For $25K more the Hill Billy guys give up 75% equity they wanted to keep and walked out with 0% of the company! Their dreams and hard work are gone for less then $40K/ea. I hope that 7% will make them millionaires. Always go in knowing a baseline what you are comfortable walking out with. Speak your mind and have some balls when you need them most! It wasn’t just brains that got the sharks where they are …and people, don’t eat the “is the industry standard” BS. Every biz deal is different!

There is a store by my house who packages there own jerky, and its the best i ever had. its a little hometown secret. nothing has ever compared to it. its great. not to hot not hard to chew. just perfect. very pricey though. like 9$ a half pound

Uncle Zip should have gotten the investment. I’m a fan of his jerky and since this show, he has found a way to change the shelf life to 12 months and still leave out the preservatives.
