“The Ballad of Jed Clampett” was the theme song for The Beverly Hillbillies TV show and movie. The song was written by Paul Henning, and sung by Jerry Scoggins accompanied by bluegrass musicians Flatt and Scruggs. I played this tune by Earl Scruggs style.

That is some sweet pickin’ right there, and you notice the dislike, it’s from someone who probably listens to hip-hop, but seriously, that mate, was top-notch, and, if I ever form a bluegrass band when I’m older, the banjo spot will be yours.
