I’m Australian, and this shit is funny as fuck. What angry dickhead watched this and thought he was having a go? Fucking delusional cunts.

if you’ve never seen a koala maybe get out of the city for a weekend. I’ve seen heaps – it’s not that hard – you just need to get our and see the bush. pasty white needlenerd

  3. IamtheTezt

Don’t call us English. That really hurts.

  4. IamtheTezt

I’m with Rudd – no way we are English. That’s a really offensive thing to say about anyone, even the English.

I’ve never liked any of Robin Williams comedy. He should stick to dramatic acting and shut up. The Prime Minister is just as big of a douchebag as Williams. You don’t defend your country by shitting on someone else. Williams doesn’t care if you dump on Alabama, to Elitist Hollywood assholes, like himself, the only parts of America that matter are the Left and Right Coasts.

Robin Williams is a comedian; it’s his job to make jokes like that. Calm down, he didn’t actually want to be mean to Australians.

Damn return key….LOL. Below comment should say, comedians on talk shows slide part of their stage acts into the conversation, otherwise they wouldn’t get as many laughs. In all fairness, I’m sure Robin Williams has talked about his own country when travelling the world. It’s just a few jokes people. There are more important things to worry about than this.

I’m an Aussie and clearly he is taking the piss here. EVERY comedian who goes on a talk show tells jokes, or slides part of their stag

I’m Australian, it was a joke people, lighten up.

Australia is full of commercial citys and i personally have never seen a koala and i have lived there all my life. It is verry similar to america and england, the only diffrnce is that we are not allowed to have guns and our laws are mcuh stricter.

The four scariest words in college football:

    “You play Alabama next”

we saves Australia from the Japs. or our ‘rednecks’ in the south did also, they participated buddy. and robin williams needs to shut the fuck up about a culture he doesn’t know. and u Aussies need to get over it.

@terrythekittie Lol not always but often I wonder why. Like my Dad and I really love the Simpsons episode where the go to Australia, and a lot of people he knows say they don’t like it, so yeah.

Robin Williams is awesome, who cares who he ‘insults’ … it’s all for comedy and Robin Williams’ comedy is GOOD COMEDY!! (well I’m sure the majority of us think so)

I’m not talking about opinions, my man, Lynn’s averages are calculated from aggregated test scores from over 60 countries. It’s not rocket science: add, divide and, viola, you got an average. The study was done to determine the relationship between I.Q. and income. It’s worth a peek.

  19. MrNintoku

It was a large pool in comparison to the opinion polls you see in newpapers etc.

  20. brandnutopian

That doesn’t sound like a very large pool to extract a national average from.

If you search for the title “Intelligence and the Wealth and Poverty of Nations” by Richard Lynn and go to the site – rlynn [ d o t ] co [ d o t ] uk – you’ll find a pdf file which shows the pools in some countries were in the 10’s and 100’s of thousands.

One thing I can say for certain, Americans are fatter. We’re only surpassed by Samoa on that scale.

I believe it was a televised IQ test done in 2006 I think. Give or take a year or two. We scored 106 on average for those who participated.

  22. brandnutopian

You can look up the title, but I believe that it was done in 2002. It seems somewhat unlikely that the national average plummeted 8 points in 4 years, unless George Bush’s IQ was factored in increasingly weighted increments.

    What study are you referencing?

Just to be clear, I have a brother-in-law who is Australian and have nothing but great respect for Aussies, save Gina Rinehart and ex-pat Rupert Murdoch.

  23. MrNintoku

I was going off stats recorded sometime around 2006. So I’d like to know what years that study was made.

  24. brandnutopian

Actually, all the links I could find on average national IQ shows the US and Australia having an identical average of 98 points. Of course, the source for this comes from “Intelligence and the Wealth and Poverty of Nations” by Richard Lynn, a Brit, who places the British average at 100 so take that for what will.

  25. NoeLPZC

I believe that was Rudd’s attempt at “comedy”. He didn’t sound that upset.
