I always seem to come and stop by this version of soldier joy is it perhaps the overalls or the log cabin? maybe but I think its the skill and style of this pickers banjo skills that make me come back again and again. Thanks for posting.
At this area of judging, there were designated areas that they wanted to keep people out of. I guess they didnt want people distracting the judges or contestants.

Hm.. I usually see it played 5th-c CGBD. Regular open G, but with the 4th tuned down to C.
